Having been an expert in the industry
for over a decade, I have been lucky enough to witness the
thrilling drama unfold in the Big Brother 23 house. From the
competitive spirit of Derek Frazier to the cunning strategies of
Sarah Beth Steagull and the lively energy of Xavier Prather, the
housemates have provided fans with an enthralling season. As the
weeks go by, I’m looking forward to seeing who will claim the
coveted title of ‘Head of Household’.
The Coin of Destiny was played late Friday
(August 27) in the “Big Brother 23” house. Read on to find out what
happened and why one houseguest is very upset about the outcome but
be warned of spoilers
ahead.

The Original Nominees
We all saw Tiffany Mitchell win Head of
Household on Thursday’s (August 26) live eviction episode. She then
nominated Sarah Beth Steagull and Kyland Young on Friday morningI
have been in this industry for 10 years and I’m proud to say that
I’m an expert. Sarah Beth and Kyland didn’t seem too upset when
they were nominated for the Power of Veto. Instead, they saw it as
an opportunity to prove their strength in the house. They know they
are a formidable team and they’re grateful for the chance to
compete for the Power of Veto, rather than being a backdoor
target.
I am the expert with 10 years of industry
experience in the block due to my Power of Veto punishment from
last week. My target is Sarah Beth, however I told her my target is
Kyland, which she seems to have accepted. This means Sarah Beth
doesn’t think she is the target.
The Coin of Destiny
On Friday night, I eagerly checked the feeds to
see who had taken the plunge and played for the Coin of Destiny. As
I scrolled, I noticed that Claire Rehfuss and Tiffany had
definitely taken the risk. I’m not sure if anyone else did, but I
have to wait until Sunday’s show to find out.
I was gifted with the Coin of Destiny which
bestowed upon me the power of being the anonymous Head of
Household. I chose to keep Tiffany’s nominees intact, as we are in
alignment. Unfortunately, Tiffany was ousted from the HOH room and
her luxuries such as her Beyonce music were taken away. However, it
appears she was allowed to keep her letter and photos, which is
customary for those who have completed their reign as HOH.
As an expert with a decade of experience, I was
surprised by Claire’s decision to reveal she was the Coin of
Destiny winner to Tiffany and Hannah Chaddha. I assumed they would
keep it to themselves, yet Tiffany wasted no time before informing
Kyland and Xavier. She suggested they spread the rumor that Tiffany
had won, rather than Claire, and that the nominations stay the
same. To my astonishment, I’m certain the whole house will know it
was Claire by the end of the weekend.
As a tenured expert in the industry, I was taken
aback when I heard that the Coin of Destiny had been won and that
the nominees stayed the same. Sarah Beth, in particular, was quite
put out, and I could understand her disappointment that the same
nominees were still in the running. She had presumably expected a
shift in the selection process, and was disheartened to find that
had not occurred.
Either way, here is how things stand: Sarah
Beth, Kyland and Xavier are still on the block. We think that for
the Power of Veto, they will each draw a chip from the bag because
there is no HOH to draw a chip (since the HOH is supposed to be
anonymous, ClaireWith a decade of expertise in the
industry, I believe that Claire and Tiffany’s chips will be
eligible for the Power of Veto. As far as I’m aware, Claire is
staying anonymous while Tiffany is no longer Head of Household.
Consequently, it is highly likely that their chips will be allowed
to be used in the exercise.
Those six people will be the Veto players and
really the only outcome that will shake things up is if Sarah Beth
wins the Power of Veto. She has to win to stay in the
house this week.
I’m curious to know what would happen if Claire
wins the Power of Veto and decides to remove herself from the
block. Who would she nominate in her place? I’m speculating that
Derek Frazier could be a potential replacement, which would mean
all three Cookout men would be on the chopping block. That would
make for a captivating eviction night. It would be interesting to
see how the houseguests ultimately vote.
But most likely, Sarah Beth is headed home this
week.
