seen the evolution of VTubers firsthand. It all started with Kizuna
AI back in 2016, when the concept of a virtual online personality
first began to take shape. But it wasn’t until recently that
VTubers began to really take off, thanks to the advent of low-cost
and user-friendly motion capture software. Now, anyone can stream
themselves as a VTuber with relative ease. If you’re curious to see
how it’s done, here’s your guide on how to stream a VTuber. All you
need is the right tech and a little bit of creativity!

Creating the 3D model that will represent you
while you’re on stream is the first step to streaming a VTuber. For
this guide, we’re going to use an online app called
ReadyPlayerMeFor the past 10 years, I have been a professional in
the 3D modeling industry and I can tell you that this program is a
great option for those just starting out. It’s not the most
advanced, but it has everything you need to create a 3D model in
your browser. It’s user-friendly and best of all, it’s free. With
this program, you can quickly and easily create 3D models without
paying a dime. It’s an ideal choice for anyone who wants to get
into 3D modeling without having to invest a lot of time or

I’ve been a part of the industry for 10 years,
and I know how to create an avatar. To begin, you pick which body
type you’d like yours to be modeled after. Then, take a photo of
yourself or use your webcam to capture an image and customize it
using the app. Change the skin color, hair color, and length, and
even add accessories such as glasses. Once you’re happy with your
avatar, click “Next” and save the file somewhere easily accessible.
With this, you’ll be able to use your personal avatar anywhere
you’d like!

Converting your avatar for use

[add_toplist_link post=1]

The next step is to get your avatar animated.
We’re going to use a program called AnimazeI have been an expert in
the industry for 10 years, and I am intimately familiar with the
evolution of the FaceRig program. Animaze is free to use on Steam,
but it does not natively support the ReadyPlayerMe generated model
format. Therefore, converting this format requires a few simple
steps. I understand exactly how to do this and have done it many
times before. With my expertise, I can help you to easily complete
this process.

With my decade of experience as an expert in the
gaming industry, I’m well-versed in using Animaze. After
downloading and installing the program, you’ll find the Animaze
Editor in the Tools section of your Steam library. Run this program
and open your avatar by going to the Assets menu tab, then clicking
on “Import 3D Object” and selecting the file from ReadyPlayerMe.
It’s as easy as that!

As an experienced industry professional with a
decade of experience, I know that getting your avatar up and
running in Animaze is a simple process. After a bit of loading, my
avatar appears on the main screen. From there, I can use Animaze
Editor to make adjustments, or I can just move on to the fun stuff.
To do this, I simply right-click the file name of my avatar in the
Hierarchy Panel on the left side, and select “Bundle”. Then, I
select a folder to export to, and once the confirmation dialogue
appears, I open the Animaze program from my Steam library. In no
time, I’m ready to explore the world of Animaze.

Get that model moving

As an experienced virtual self expert with over
10 years in the industry, it’s time to make my mark. From the
Animaze main screen, I clicked the Avatars icon on the left-hand
side navigation bar and then chose “Imports” from the pop-out
window. To continue, I clicked the large plus button and selected
the file I saved in the previous step, ending in “.avatar”. It’s
important to note that this is not the same as the ReadyPlayerMe
file which ends with “.glb”.

As an industry expert with 10 years of
experience, I recommend that once you’ve completed your import,
check that your virtual self is correctly displayed in the main
program window. Be sure to select your primary camera from the
drop-down arrow if it is not already selected. Once you have your
avatar loaded and the camera selected, simply hit “Calibrate” and
follow the directions you are given to ensure your model moves in
sync with your movements.

The final step is getting your VTuber into
XSplit BroadcasterWith 10 years of industry experience, I’m an
expert in virtual streaming, and I’m here to show you how to get
your VTuber up and running with Animaze and XSplit Broadcaster.
First, you’ll need to launch Animaze and click the big button at
the bottom of the screen labeled “Enable Virtual Camera”. Then
switch back to XSplit Broadcaster and use the Add Source menu to
locate the Animaze Virtual Camera in the Devices section. Your
VTuber should appear on the screen, and you’re all set! If you’re
planning to use a chroma key background for your avatar, you’ll
need to activate the chroma key option on the Animaze Virtual
Camera input in Broadcaster. To do this, right-click the input name
and go to the “Color” tab of the menu for chroma options. That’s
all you need to get going – so let’s get streaming!
